Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is like a freight train: once he gets going, everyone better get out of his way unless they want to be laid out flat.
Jokic has been stellar all season and there are multiple instances of him setting the NBA world ablaze with his eye-catching numbers.
At this point, greatness is just what Jokic does every night.

Wednesday was no exception, as Jokic was stunning against the Washington Wizards.
The big man scored 43 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists, and 4 steals.
He was an incredible 17-of-20 from the field and is the first player with 43/14/8/4 on 50% since Larry Bird.
Jokic didn’t just shoot well on Wednesday, he was close to perfect: he sank 85% of his shots.
Once again, no one could stop the Jokic train.
Not Joking Around
Jokic led his team – and the entire game – Wednesday, but that’s not surprising at this point.
The Serbian big man is averaging 24.6 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 9 assists a game.
And while an 85% field goal percentage is astonishing, it’s not shocking because he’s 63.4% from the year from the field.
That’s up from his career average of 54.6%.
Jokic is doing phenomenally as he has been for the last few seasons and now his Nuggets are catching up with him.
The team has really benefitted from the re-entry of Jamal Murray but Bruce Brown, Aaron Gordon, and Bones Hyland have also been giving Jokic a ton of help.
Because of this, the team is doing better than they have in years and is the third team in the West with a powerful 17-10 record.
This is the version of the Nuggets that fans have been patiently waiting for.
