The Denver Nuggets could take a 2-0 lead in the 2023 NBA Finals on Sunday night.
The Western Conference champions had a terrific Game 1, getting a comfortable win over the Miami Heat at Ball Arena.
Once again, Nikola Jokic went off, recording another triple-double in this magical playoff run.
If he records another one in Game 2, he would join Magic Johnson and Wilt Chamberlain as the only three players to record consecutive triple-doubles in the Finals.

Wilt was the first one to achieve this feat, doing it in the 1967 NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics.
Chamberlain recorded 16 points, 33 rebounds, and 10 assists in Game 1 of the San Francisco Warriors vs. Philadelphia 76ers series.
He recorded a 10-point, 38-rebounds, and 10-assist triple-double in Game 2 of a series that saw his Sixers win 4-2.
Magic Johnson achieved this same feat in 1984 against the Boston Celtics.
The Los Angeles Lakers icon posted 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 21 assists in Game 3 of that year’s Finals.
In Game 4, he recorded 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 17 assists.
Unfortunately, his Lakers couldn’t win this series and the Celtics won the championship in seven games.
Still, what Magic did was magical (no pun intended), joining an exclusive club that could have a new member at the end of this Sunday.
Nikola Jokic is the best performer of the 2023 NBA Playoffs and he’s not done yet.
The Serbian player can make history once again while leading his team to the promised land.
