Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets might be well on his way to winning his third consecutive MVP trophy.
And even if he doesn’t do that, there is no doubt that he is having the sort of season that NBA experts will talk about for years to come.
He is producing 24.7 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 10.1 assists a night.
More impressively, he has a field goal percentage of 63.2%.
And it has been that high for a long time now.

So far this season, Jokic has shot under 50% during just one single game.
The game in question was all the way back in October.
On October 28, Jokic went 3-of-10 in 25 minutes and that gave him a percentage of 30%.
Since then, Jokic has been on a tear and dominating the league in many ways.
And because of that, his Nuggets have been surging to the top of the Western Conference.
Heading into the All-Star break, the Nuggets have a 41-18 record and are five games ahead of the second-place Memphis Grizzlies.
Since that 30% night back in October, Jokic has only gotten better and better.
Not only is he the frontrunner for MVP, but his team is also the frontrunner for the Western Conference Finals.
There will be many challengers who try to get in the Nuggets’ way, including the much-hyped Phoenix Suns with Kevin Durant.
But everyone knows that Jokic won’t slow down or stop playing lights-out basketball.
He is doing more than just about every other player in the league right now and he is making it all look so easy.
