The Philadelphia Eagles are getting set to play in the Super Bowl for the second time in six seasons.
This past week many Eagles fans celebrated the anniversary of their first Super Bowl title.
Even though their team looks very different now, there is one player that is still loved in Philadelphia.
That is quarterback Nick Foles.
We have seen Foles try and fail in many different spots around the league, but the one place he had success was in Philly.
Foles had one of the great playoff runs during that 17-18 season, which resulted in him winning Super Bowl MVP.
During that run, he threw for 323.7 yards per game and 373 yards and three touchdowns in the Super Bowl.
He even caught a touchdown on a play that goes down as maybe the best in Eagles’ history.
Now as Foles enters the final stretch of his career, he has made it clear what team he wants to retire with.

Foles has a statue outside of Lincoln Financial Field, the Eagles’ home stadium.
Also, he is the first quarterback in team history to lead them to a Super Bowl.
He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all Eagles fans.
Whenever Foles does decide to retire, it will be interesting to see if he goes into the Eagles Hall of Fame.
Despite only playing five seasons with the team, he did make one pro bowl.
Also, the aforementioned Super Bowl should carry a lot of weight.
Especially if the Eagles do not win the upcoming big game.
Foles did something that some of the franchise’s best players were unable to do.
There is no question he should retire as an Eagle and has a strong case to join the team’s Hall of Fame.
