Tom Brady was able to announce his NFL retirement on his own earlier this week.

That followed a weekend of rumors and scoops that revealed his impending decision to retire.

But the luster was not lost completely as the legendary quarterback has been able to put out a ton of content this week to remember his historic career.

The latest piece is a video that thanks all the fans and everyone who supported him throughout his two-decade career.

I played for the name on the front of my jersey and the name on the back of my jersey. I played for my friends, my family & our community – every single one of you – that have given me what I have today.

I love you all. Thank you ALL for making this incredible journey possible pic.twitter.com/3jmNWid9ZB

— Tom Brady (@TomBrady) February 3, 2022

The video goes through some of the top moments of his career and also gives a shoutout to his entire family.

It is a lot to pack in a one-minute video, but the sentiment remains strong.

This video also has the NFL world reacting as Brady’s retirement celebration continues.

Thank you @TomBrady for your incredible achievements, athleticism, kindness to many and for the intense pleasure you have given me and all in witnessing such an incredible journey! It was truly an honor. You will be greatly missed. #TomBrady #goat #ThankYouTom #ThankfulThursday https://t.co/kc3gb9gqyG

NFL World Reacts To Tom Brady

The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback became a polarizing figure because of all his success.

That is just the nature of being a star in any sport.

Fans are thus reacting in different ways, depending where their allegiance lies.

Goosebumps

— Brandon White (@Coach_Blanco) February 3, 2022

@TomBrady waits for everyone else he worked with in NE to say this? you couldn’t do it from the start when you originally wrote a post! And you won’t say @Patriots name? Just name on the jersey? 😂 thanks for a great 17 years in New England bro! Thank you for helping win 6 rings! https://t.co/YfMCfMNBbY

— Crazy Frog (@FrogmansWorld) February 3, 2022

Yet even those that dislike Brady now seem to at least respect him for what he did in his 22-year career.

Not having him in the NFL will feel bizarre considering he was playing before the days of HD television.

@TomBrady thank you for the memories

The Brady farewell tour will surely continue as he continues to stay active on social media.

He has a brand to maintain and that means he could show up in a variety of projects, whether that is on television or on social media platforms.

I love Tom Brady. I wish things were handled better from both the Patriots side and his side after the 2019 season, but that’s business. Being a Patriots fan the past 20 years was an incredible journey. Enjoy retirement! https://t.co/v8iyGHL7Bg

— Dañiel (@djmorse126) February 3, 2022

No matter what he does, a polarizing reaction will follow him as his legacy lives on after such a historic NFL career.
