NFL World Reacts To The Dolphins News

Yes, the Miami Dolphins did dodge a bullet when the NFL found out that they did not intentionally lose games in hopes of getting a better draft position.

That allegation stemmed from former head coach Brian Flores but has been proven to be false.

However, the Dolphins got caught tampering with quarterback Tom Brady and former head coach Sean Payton.

Fans could get over the situation if the team actually landed either individual.

Worse yet, they did not sign either of the two, and this Twitter user couldn’t help but feel like laughing.

The Miami Dolphins have been a laughingstock my whole life.

Now you can add that they’re the only franchise dumb enough to tamper with a player and coach, get caught, and not even land the player OR the coach lmaooo

For the record, the Dolphins had a discussion with Payton before he announced his retirement from coaching.

Meanwhile, they had illegal communications with Brady two times, one when he was still with the New England Patriots and the other with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The team also had some talks with agent Don Yee, who represents both Brady and Payton.

Time For Ross To Relinquish The Squad

Once again, Dolphins owner Stephen M. Ross is in the middle of this controversy and he was fined $1.5 million for his involvement with the tampering.

This violation should be the final wedge for him to sell the team because the Dolphins haven’t played well since he took over in 2009.

Since his ownership was recognized, the Dolphins only had three winning seasons and lost the only playoff game they played in.

Stephen Ross should seriously sell the team and stick to his construction projects and get the hell out of sports. He's an embarrassment as an owner

The tampering incidents are another proof for his detractors to have Ross ousted as team owner.

He has done more harm than good to a proud franchise.

Therefore, football fans are already clamoring for his ouster to give the Dolphins a better chance at succeeding.

Sadly, the team’s current composition could mask this concern because they could end up clinching a postseason berth.
