Running back Miles Sanders attracted unnecessary attention to the Philadelphia Eagles after his recent statement.
For full disclosure, he sees his squad as an all-star team and they feel unstoppable.
Essentially, he’s doing a Vince Young and those words backfired on the former NFL quarterback.
Will that be the same result for the Eagles in 2022?
On paper, the Eagles do have strong units on both sides of the ball.
They got better on defense by adding Haason Reddick and James Bradberry.
Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean can also be difference-makers for the NFC East squad.
Meanwhile, the Eagles retained offensive lineman Jordan Mailata and traded for A.J. Brown before giving him a four-year, $100 million contract.
Therefore, Philadelphia has a solid receiving corps with Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Quez Watkins.
Likewise, their running game is one of the league’s best with Sanders, Kenneth Gainwell, and Boston Scott.
Barring any injuries, this Twitter user sees a superb 2022 campaign from Sanders.

It remains to be seen if Sanders will reach or surpass those numbers.
He does have the talent to be one of the top backfield players in the league and he has a lot to prove after playing just 12 games in 2021.
Meanwhile, Eagles Nest Blog has a balanced reaction regarding Sanders’ claim.
I’ll say this. I don’t hate the confidence Miles Sanders has and I know he had no ill intent but the dream team statement has just given me PTSD. Like I always say just let us fly under the radar please! 😂🦅 #FlyEaglesFly

Unfortunately, football fans will pay extra attention to the Eagles to see if Sanders is right.
Eagles fans want him to become a prophet while the followers of the other NFL teams, especially those in the NFC East, would like him to eat his words.
Reaction To Sanders’ Statement
While there are positive comments about what he said, some Twitter users couldn’t contain their emotions.
I would prefer Miles Sanders to shut up, that statement can do nothing but get thrown in his face

This person might throw a party if Sanders is proven to be wrong.
However, the NFL season is long and the Eagles need to sustain their production on offense to make Sanders’ words come true.
Finally, this Eagles fan is throwing some caution to negate Sanders’ confidence.

With each game, Sanders will be reminded of what he said during the offseason, for better or worse.
