Urban Meyer is officially the worst coach in NFL history.
The number of issues he’s had for less than one season will never be matched.
His actions made Bobby Petrino’s departure from Atlanta to Arkansas look like nothing.
A new article by Jayson Jenks and Mike Sando on The Athletic painted a darker picture about him, especially with the way he treated players and coaches.
Unfortunately, he might not know who plays for him or for the other team because he reportedly didn’t know Deebo Samuel, Jamal Adams, and Aaron Donald.
Really, an NFL head coach did not know who a three-time Defensive Player of the Year is?
That thought sounds ridiculous until you realize that it’s Meyer.
Idk why y’all are expecting Urban Meyer to know who #99 on the Rams is when he doesn’t even know who #99 on the Jaguars is.

Granted that if he even had the slightest idea of who Donald was, he might not even know how to pronounce his name.

That’s only three names, but there might be more NFL stars that he did not know.
Clearly, he had no idea what he went into and thought that the experience would be like college football all over again.
He thought that he would get victories easily and boss everyone around.
Unfortunately, he cannot recruit players in the NFL like in college football.
Bad Reflection On The Jaguars
If Meyer was the best candidate they could find, then his stint in the NFL alone is a negative reputation on the organization itself.
Maybe team owner Shahid Khan had it mixed up and intended to hire Meyer for All Elite Wrestling.
After all, his language suits that environment.
Urban Meyer not knowing who Aaron Donald or Deebo Samuel were and still getting the job means Shad treated that hire like a pro wrestling money mark instead of a football owner

There’s no way he can be the good guy if he considers professional wrestling.
Turns out Urban Meyer was actually the cartoon supervillain we all assumed Nick Saban was, and by all accounts Nick Saban seems to be really good guy. Life comes at you fast.

He’s a villain inside and out and it would be difficult to sell him as a babyface.
