NFL Black Monday is here and somehow the New York Giants have not fired head coach Joe Judge.
GM Dave Gettleman did retire, potentially leaving a scenario where Judge even gets to help pick his next boss.
The Giants have some monumental decisions to make and this remains a fluid situation.
One thing that is happening is NFL fans reacting in shock to Judge not losing his job on a day when coaches with much more success, such as Brian Flores, have lost their jobs.
Joe Judge still has his job btw https://t.co/IJRbicXKBC

The reaction is only going to grow stronger throughout the offseason if he stays on the job.
NFL World Reacting To Joe Judge’s Job Security
Giants fans are expressing their anger in a variety of ways following Sunday’s ugly loss.
A quarterback sneak in the second quarter is enough to have some giving up on Judge even if ownership is not.
How does Joe Judge still have a job???? @Giants https://t.co/S71O1aLDEV

And Joe Judge still has “a job” https://t.co/pNtdNXYyF3

The main reaction is also just amazement that Judge has been able to last into Monday afternoon without being fired.
how joe judge still has a job actually amazes me

joe judge is as good for the giants as taco bell wings are good for one’s digestive system. mara is a mad man!

How and why does Joe Judge still have a job? What is happening – or not happening? #NYGiants

Judge showed up and preached about building a culture.
Yet his team lacked any clear motivation in Week 18 and running quarterback sneaks on third-and-long seemed to indicate everyone just wanted the season to end.
Even if Judge does keep his job, he will likely be on a short leash in 2022.
I love the Giants doing this merely to fire Joe Judge in week 5 of next season https://t.co/o2kXu6gKuw

Brian Flores at least had his team competing, but joe judge can barely beat a team in the nfc east. https://t.co/Ek1Bs5EpTY

Judge ultimately keeping his job is going to be a major storyline if it indeed happens.
Giants fans will just have to live with the fact that they must wait until next September to see if anything changes.
Am I mad that the Giants are keeping Joe Judge?
No.
Why?
Because just like the #Yankees keeping Aaron Boone, I’ve given up hope that the owners of the teams I root for are going to do the right thing.

My only way to express what a bad football coach Joe Judge is, is to say that I’d prefer if Aaron Boone was the #Giants head coach lol. #TogetherBlue #Yankees #SquadUp

The Giants are in an awful spot if the main discussion within the organization is if the coach should be fired or not.
A successful coach does not normally have to argue for their job, instead letting their work on the field do the talking.
