NFL World Reacts To Dan Snyder Refusing To Meet Congress

By Lawrence Fernandez June 16, 2022

Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder informed the House Oversight Committee that he won’t testify during their June 22 hearing regarding the team’s workplace culture.

The committee is also investigating an alleged sexual misconduct case against Snyder filed by former team employee Tiffani Johnston.

This fan already knew that his refusal would happen.

Is anyone actually surprised Dan Snyder rejected the House Oversight Committee's invite to appear?

Snyder claims to have complaints about the due process, hence the non-participation.

However, he is showing that he is above the law or the legislators for that matter.

If Snyder doesn’t comply, then he will be issued a subpoena which this fan predicts will come soon.

I hope Congress sends a beautiful subpoena to Dan Snyder this week. While it appears he wants to delay the inevitable, I believe the inevitable is coming soon w/him at the center of multiple investigations. The truth will come to light. Thank you @OversightDems. #releasethereport

It’s also weird that not much is known about the commissioned report regarding the alleged terrible culture within the Commanders organization.

Details of their findings haven’t been made public at all.

But whatever happens from this situation, it’s a distraction that the players and coaches do not need.

Instead of gearing up for minicamp and training camp, they will be hounded by the media with questions regarding this matter.

It’s hard enough to win in the National Football League, let alone with a distraction.

Worst yet, their division rivals are looking to pounce on them.

The Commanders Are A Mess

Apparently, the type of ownership reflects how the team will fare.

Snyder hasn’t been one of the best in terms of the board room or the football field, as commented by this fan.

Not sure what Dan Snyder is better at:
-consistantly making horrible personal & business decisions
-blatantly avoiding accountability for consistantly making horrible personal & business decisions https://t.co/489HwQP845

Remember the questionable player signings he made in the past?

Yes, there have been lots of those terrible decisions.

But beyond Snyder’s refusal to face Congress, the Commanders can pitch their overall situation as a pilot for a dramatic television series.

Jack Del Rio going full MAGA. B Mitch calling out Ron Rivera for talking behind his back. Dan Snyder doing the usual.

Sounds like the Commanders offseason finally in full swing 😂

Kidding aside, Snyder might not survive this issue especially if he continues to choose non-compliance.

I need Dan Snyder out of Washington immediately

Therefore, this above fan is storming the heavens with this plea.
