The Tampa Bay Buccaneers received some unfortunate news this past weekend.

Leonard Fournette is dealing with a hamstring injury and is out until the postseason.

Combine that with Chris Godwin‘s season-ending injury and the Buccaneers are trending in the wrong direction ahead of the postseason.

But having Tom Brady around helps calm even the most nervous of fans.

Tampa decided to make a bit of a surprising addition by adding Le’Veon Bell for some backfield depth in the final weeks of the season.

That news had the entire NFL world providing some great reactions on Twitter.

People act like Le'Veon Bell is old. He's 29. His problem was a holdout that left him out of football and his game never was the same. He can still play though when called upon. I think I'm going to like a RoJo/Bell tandem in the backfield #GoBucs

A Reunion In Tampa

Bell is now reunited with Antonio Brown in what is going to be a painful sight for Pittsburgh Steelers fans.

To make it worse, they are now playing alongside Brady.

The difference in 2021 is that Bell is no longer the elite player he once was, while Brady and Brown remain playing at a high level.

But perhaps landing on the Buccaneers is what Bell needs to begin the second act of his NFL career.

He got a chance with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020, yet was not the perfect fit in that offense.

Bell now shows up out of necessity and should get a chance to prove himself over the final three games of the regular season.

Le'Veon Bell went from wanting to box Jake Paul to warming the bench for the Bucs while RoJo runs wild.

Bell has been a controversial figure ever since he sat out the entire 2018 season because of a contract dispute with Pittsburgh.

His career has never been the same since.

The running back is still only 29 years old, so it’s possible he still has one more great run left in him.

He also won’t be asked to do too much as the Buccaneers offense runs through Brady.

Imagine somebody telling you in 2014, Tom Brady, Le’Veon Bell, Rob Gronkowski, Antonio Brown, Mike Evans, Jason Pierre-Paul, Ndamukong Suh, Lavonte David, and Richard Sherman would all be playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021. Nobody would’ve believed it.#GoBucs

The Buccaneers are acquiring talent that some may see as past their prime.

Brady and Brown have changed that narrative and now Bell will look to do the same.
