Antonio Brown is doing whatever it takes to salvage his reputation after last Sunday’s debacle.
That includes appearing on the “Full Send Podcast” in an attempt to justify his actions and clear his name.
Among other things, Brown went off and declared himself the best receiver not only when he was in Tampa Bay, but in all the NFL.
More from Antonio Brown: “If Tom Brady is my boy why am I playing for an earnest salary? Gronkowski is his boy, right? How much did he get paid? So why is AB on a prove-it deal? Who's better than me over there?pic.twitter.com/z5TmwbtNAA

Brown calls out his friendship with Tom Brady and wants to know why he wasn’t given a massive contract by the Buccaneers.
This throws the likes of Rob Gronkowski, Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin all under the bus and NFL fans offered up some great reactions on social media.
AB is officially the only player in Brady’s entire career to talk bad about him. Go get yourself some help you clearly need it @AB84 https://t.co/J0doYZs2Jn

NFL World Reacts To The Latest AB Drama
Fans were quick to point out how Godwin and Evans have to feel about these comments.

5 years ago? Nobody. Chris Godwin is so much better than AB right now though, full stop. But he was playing on a prove it deal due to his history. Why that’s so hard for him to understand, nobody will ever know https://t.co/yuaxM5zQ1H

The weird part is the hosts of the podcast not just challenging Brown and mentioning Godwin and Evans as better options.
However, that may have ruined the episode if Brown chose to storm off again.
Brown is ignoring the simple fact that he was on a “prove it” deal because of his history.
That includes how he messed up a great opportunity with the Raiders and how he could not stay out of legal trouble.
The Buccaneers, or any team for that matter, were never going to give him big money if he was not a reliable member of the team.
That is true for any player in the league, regardless of talent.
,….. AB thinking he's currently better then Chris Godwin and Mike Evans is funny. AB not understanding why he's on a prove it deal and Gronk isn't is just top tier comedy https://t.co/WxrsvEm5a0

Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and Mike Evans are about to put on the most impressive Super Bowl run in NFL history. They wanna prove to AB that they can do it without him– give TB12 something to prove?..
Dangerous.

Some fans may find this whole situation, while others may just find it sad.
Brown is truly an elite talent who just can’t stay in the NFL for reasons that have nothing to do with football.
Could he find another opportunity?
Yes, but the money will not be what he wants after quitting on the Buccaneers.
