There were plenty of upsets in the past few weeks in the NFL.
Those games prevented the favored teams from inching closer to a playoff spot.
The reasons for the upsets vary from injured starters to unexpected meltdowns.
While it’s hard to predict the outcome of NFL Week 13 games, only one thing is sure.
Upsets will happen to spoil the party of the better teams.
Here are the three shocking results that will come out of the 14 scheduled NFL games this week.
3. Buffalo Bills Defeat New England Patriots
While the discrepancy between the two teams isn’t huge, the Buffalo Bills are the underdog because they lost their AFC East lead to the New England Patriots.
As of the moment, the Bills look to be the weaker team after splitting their last four games.
Meanwhile, the Patriots are on a roll after winning six straight games and limiting their opponents to 10.5 points per game during that stretch.
Josh Allen must take care of the ball against the New England defense that punishes their foes with each turnover.

Mac Jones‘ accuracy makes it almost sure that they’d score after a takeaway.
However, the Bills will be playing at home, and they are fresh from a 31-6 demolition of the New Orleans Saints.
The Patriots might be in trouble if that game helped Allen rediscover his connection with Buffalo’s stellar receiving corps.
The Bills defense is no pushover because they allow the fewest yards per game at 275.2 and the second-fewest points at 16.5 per game.
This pairing turns out to be a defensive chess match, but Buffalo will emerge victorious, having the better offense.
2. Denver Broncos Defeat Kansas City Chiefs
The battle for the AFC West title remains tight that one game separates all four teams.
However, the Kansas City Chiefs regained the division lead, making them the favorites to win this matchup.
But the Denver Broncos found the defensive identity that helped them win three straight games to start the season.
As a result, Vic Fangio’s squad has won three of their last four games and limited their foes to 13 points per contest during that run.

On the other hand, the Chiefs looked like contenders again by winning four straight before their bye week.
That extra period of rest will help them address injuries and roster concerns.
While they will play at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 13, they might have trouble stopping the Broncos offense if Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, and Jerry Jeudy all have a huge game.
The Chiefs still have a weak pass defense, especially in the secondary, giving the Broncos a soft spot to exploit.
1. Washington Football Team Defeats Las Vegas Raiders
Washington is gaining ground in the NFC East after winning three straight games.
Once again, their defense is looking like a terrifying unit, limiting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to 19 points.
On offense, they are also getting steady contributions from Taylor Heinicke, Antonio Gibson, and Terry McLaurin.
Meanwhile, the Las Vegas Raiders finally won a game without Henry Ruggs III as Hunter Renfrow stepped up against the Dallas Cowboys.

But while they had the last laugh, the Raiders still surrendered 33 points to the Cowboys.
Ron Rivera‘s crew has an excellent opportunity to upset Las Vegas and possibly maintain the narrow gap with Dallas.
The Raiders’ run defense is suspect, giving Gibson the chance to finish with a big day.
In contrast, Washington ranks fourth in that category which is not good news for Josh Jacobs, Peyton Barber, and Kenyan Drake.
