As we head into Week 8 of the NFL season, a few teams are facing long odds to win.
While that ultimately means nothing in the NFL, it is still an indicator of teams likely to lose.
Through seven weeks, we have a good understanding of which teams are contenders or not.
Without further ado, here are three NFL teams who will likely lose in Week 8.
1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tom Brady and company are set to host the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football.
After losing back-to-back games to the Pittsburg Steelers and Carolina Panthers, the Bucs have fallen to 3-4 on the year.
Facing the Ravens on a short week is a recipe for disaster.
Baltimore is an elite rushing team and the Bucs just got dominated on the ground by the Panthers.
There is no team in the NFL doing less with more than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Not just this week, either. Whole season.

The chances their run defense is fixed after only three days are slim.
Plus, the Bucs have plenty of issues on offense.
Brady has not looked good to start the year and things seem to be spiraling downward for them.
This is a bad matchup for the Bucs and one they will likely lose.
2. New York Jets
The New York Jets have been one of the surprise teams in the NFL this season.
After a 5-2 start, the Jets host the New England Patriots on Sunday.
With New England coming off an embarrassing loss on Monday night, they will be motivated to play well this week.
Bill Belichick has always done well against young quarterbacks and that should not change this week.
Also, the Jets lost their best offensive player in Breece Hall, making their offense far less explosive.
This is a good bounce-back game for the Patriots.
3. New York Giants
Another surprise team this season has been the New York Giants.
The Giants are 6-1 and have shocked the league with some impressive wins over the Green Bay Packers and Ravens.
This week the Giants travel to the Seattle Seahawks for a tough road matchup.
The New York Giants are 6-1 and don't have a player with 200 yards receiving on the season.

Geno Smith and the Seahawks have a very impressive offense and playing at home should cause problems for New York.
The Giants are due for a loss and this seems likely to be their first one since Week 3.
