The time for trading players is over for NFL teams.
While plenty of teams got into the trading action before the trade deadline, some teams made no moves at all.
With them passing up on players, these teams have now missed their window of opportunity.
So with the trade deadline already over, which three teams missed out on their chance to make much-needed moves?
3. Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams were looking to trade running back Cam Akers before the trade deadline.
Sean McVay all but says outright that the Rams are exploring trade possibilities with Cam Akers. Sounds like they’ve had some interest but McVay also said he didn’t want to rule in absolutes in whether they will try to salvage situation if they can’t find a partner.

However, the team never found a trade partner for the star running back.
While it’s not known the reason behind no one trading for Akers, it’s clear the Rams missed their chance to move on from him.
With the team short on draft picks in 2023, trading him could have given them some much needed draft capital.
2. Cleveland Browns
Speaking of running backs, the Cleveland Browns have their own RB who was requesting a trade this season.

With Kareem Hunt requesting a trade early in the season, it’s clear his time was over in Cleveland.
While the team denied the request early, they eventually were looking for a trade partner for him.

However, they never found a partner for him before the trade deadline, costing them a chance to improve their team.
1. Green Bay Packers
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers needs help in Green Bay.
However, the team never got him the help he needs before the trade deadline hit.
With the Packers at 3-5, they needed to make a move to save their season.
