The NFL season has been less exciting than expected.
Just like every other year.
But, this season has seen some unlikely teams at the bottom of the standings.
Through seven weeks, this has been an NFL season with plenty of disappointing teams.
Here are the three NFL teams who have underachieved so far this year.
1. Los Angeles Rams
Let us start with the defending Super Bowl champions.
The Rams have struggled early in this season, with a surprising record of 3-3.
Matthew Stafford has been terrible this season.
He has thrown six touchdowns and eight interceptions, and he is second in the league in interceptions.
Why is Matthew Stafford playing so much worse in 2022 than he did in 2021?
OBJ's absence certainly hurts, but the biggest issue…

The Rams have been terrible and it is unclear how they will turn their season around.
This team has grossly underachieved so far this season.
2. Denver Broncos
After trading for Russell Wilson in the offseason, this Broncos team was expected to be contenders in the AFC.
But, the only thing they seem to be contending for is the first overall pick.
The coaching hire of Nathaniel Hackett has been a disaster.
Paired with the even worse play of Wilson.
This team plays in one of the toughest divisions in football with the Chiefs, Chargers, and Raiders.
Denver’s chances at a playoff berth are all but gone only seven games into the year.
3. Green Bay Packers
The Packers have been the best team in the NFC for the past few seasons.
They have won 13 games in three consecutive years, and many expected that to continue this year.
But, things have gone wrong for Green Bay so far.
They are 3-4 and Aaron Rodgers is not playing well.

The lack of receiving weapons in Green Bay has been a problem, as their offense has not been explosive.
Facing the Bills in Week 8, 3-5 is all but a certainty for the Packers.
