With Week 1 of the NFL in the books, everyone is buzzing over their teams.
Some fans are talking about how great their teams look this season.
Others are talking about shocking wins.
However, there’s a group of teams whose fans are talking about how bad things went for them.
As we head into Week 2 of the NFL season, which three teams had the worst possible Week 1 performance?
3. Los Angeles Rams
While the Los Angeles Rams are the defending Super Bowl champs, they didn’t look like champions against the Buffalo Bills.
Despite having a home-field advantage, the Rams couldn’t ruffle the feathers of Josh Allen.
The defense allowed an opening possession touchdown, giving momentum to the Bills.
With that lead, the Bills never looked back.
However, it wasn’t just the lack of defense which troubled the Rams on Thursday night.
The performance by Matthew Stafford, and the offensive line of the Rams, was troubling.
While he was coming off an elbow injury, which he had surgery on, he didn’t look back to 100%.
The offensive line didn’t help either, as they allowed Stafford to get sacked seven times.
The Bills become just the 4th team All-Time to have 7+ Sacks, 3+ Interceptions, & allow less than 250 total yards in the 1st week of the season. The other 3:

His three interceptions were costly, allowing the Bills to seal a victory.
With the loss, and issues with Stafford, the Rams started off Week 1 the worst way possible.
2. Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos spent the offseason getting quarterback Russell Wilson to improve their offense.
However, the Broncos didn’t use him on a critical fourth-down play down by one with under two minutes left in the fourth quarter.
When you bring in Russell Wilson, you go for it on that 4th down. That was his moment, at his old home to be special or fail and they put it in the hands of the kicker. The BALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN RUSS’s hands.

But even with the play calling late, the Broncos had two other moments that hurt them.
During the third quarter, the Broncos fumbled the ball twice at the one-yard line, costing them points.
While the second half is where the disastrous play started, it shows a meltdown by the offense and offensive play calling.
However, the bright side was how their defense kept the Seattle Seahawks from scoring in the second half.
While the defense was improving, it’s the offense that needs some work after critical errors in scoring position.
If they can improve this, and work on better play calling late in games, this terrible performance can be fixed.
1. Cincinnati Bengals
While the Cincinnati Bengals are defending AFC champions, they were looking like the Bengals who can’t win games.
The team was the second-worst team in allowing sacks last season, something they tried to address this season.
However, it appears the offensive line still can’t protect Joe Burrow.
Not time to hit the panic button for the #Bengals but how concerned should we be with the Offensive Line after giving up 7 sacks?@MoEgger & @Local12Skinny discuss the OL and Burrow's struggles vs PIT

A seven-sack day was the start of major issues for the Bengals.
Burrow finished the game with four interceptions, a career high.
While that low-point for Burrow, along with the seven sacks, seems bad, the worst is yet to come.
With the game on the line, kicker Evan McPherson missed a field goal in overtime.
However, the miss comes from a bad snap and hold, as the laces weren’t pointed out for him.
With the missed field goal, the Bengals lost their chance at winning on opening day.
