The NFL career of Josh Gordon is set to continue now that he has been reinstated by the league yet again.
This has become an annual process, but so has the fact that teams continue to give him second, third, and fourth chances.
If the chances keep coming, he is right to take them.
NFL informed suspended former All-Pro WR Josh Gordon that it is reinstating him, sources tell ESPN. Gordon is expected to be eligible to play as early as Week 4.

Plenty of teams out there may want to take a flier on him and hope the veteran can stick around for the full year.
However, several teams may already be out on him for one reason or another.
Here are three teams that likely want nothing to do with Gordon.
3. New England Patriots
Bill Belichick has never been shy about bringing in troubled players and basically putting them on a week-to-week contract basis.
The problem here is that Gordon already had his chance in New England.
The Cleveland Browns traded Gordon to the Patriots in 2018 and he was able to appear in 11 games.
Unfortunately, he was suspended late in the year and did not get to appear in the Super Bowl victory.
He was reinstated in 2019, only to suffer an injury and later be let go.
The Gordon experiment worked in 2018 with Tom Brady at quarterback.
Bringing in his unreliable presence with Mac Jones under center would not be the wisest move.
2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers do not want to mess up a good thing.
Signing Antonio Brown was a huge leap for the organization and it appears that is going well thanks to his relationship with Brady.
This offense already has Brown, Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin leading the way at receiver.
Those three dominate the targets at the receiver position, while Scotty Miller is an intriguing fourth option.
And don’t forget about Rob Gronkowski at tight end.
The depth is real and the last thing this team wants is a distraction as they chase a repeat title.
1. Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns stood by Gordon for years and years until it just became too much to bear.
Logically, he could help now that Jarvis Landry is out a bit with an injury.
But this organization gave out so many chances to Gordon it is best for both sides never to associate with each other again.

Like the Buccaneers, the Browns have their sights set on a Super Bowl.
The distraction of Gordon’s availability hurt them in the past and won’t be tolerated again.
Receiver help will come from within in the form of Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones, and Anthony Schwartz.
