The NFL will use any opportunity to promote the league, the teams, and the players.
They must be doing something good because they are one of the most significant global sporting leagues.
Their following in Europe, Canada, Mexico, and elsewhere has also grown through the International Series and the International Home Marketing Areas program.
They also push superstars or top prospects by including them in their social media posts.
That said, the league must hold Pittsburgh Panthers quarterback Kenny Pickett in high regard.

Featuring him on their countdown pose means he is one of the top prospects in the upcoming draft.
But from another perspective, it could be another case of selecting a face instead of talent.
Quarterbacks are the poster boys of the NFL because they are some of the most popular players.
That is both a blessing and a curse, especially when they play poorly.
But Pickett being featured on their Twitter post could mean that he will be selected early in a draft that is full of uncertainty.
The Great Unknown
Not even player agents know how the 2022 draft will unravel.
The Jacksonville Jaguars’ pick at number one is still uncertain, highlighting that fact.
Some executives in their camp are pushing for Travon Walker, while others prefer Aidan Hutchinson.
Likewise, no one knows if a quarterback will be taken in the top ten.
The draft grades for this year’s quarterback class are lower than their 2021 counterparts.
Therefore, they might end up slipping in the latter rounds.
When that happens, Pickett might not hear his name called on day one.
He might have known that possibility beforehand because he opted to not go to Las Vegas and attend the draft in person.
