The NFL is making efforts to grow the game globally through its International Series.
That initiative started in 2007 and a handful of teams are selected each year to play a regular-season game overseas.
In the past, the United Kingdom and Mexico have hosted games.
This year, Germany will be added to the countries that will feature an NFL game.
It’s a huge international market for the league because of the large fanbase and its link with the now-defunct NFL Europe.
Therefore, the league revealed the teams playing on November 13, at 9:30 a.m. ET at FC Bayern Munich’s home field, Allianz Arena.

The Seattle Seahawks and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will compete in the first-ever regular-season game on German soil.
The Seahawks are looking for a postseason return after missing it for the first time since 2017.
They were also the only NFC West team that did not reach the playoffs last season.
However, losing Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos is the biggest change they must address.
The Seahawks are banking on Drew Lock, Geno Smith, or Jacob Eason to lead a successful campaign in 2022.
Likewise, they must fill the void left by All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner who joined the Los Angeles Rams.
The Buccaneers Are Legitimate Contenders Again
Tom Brady‘s return re-energized the Buccaneers to make another title run.
The seven-time Super Bowl winner will lead Tampa Bay’s offense which still has Leonard Fournette, Chris Godwin, and Mike Evans.
They’ve also acquired wide receiver Russell Gage from the Atlanta Falcons.
The Buccaneers are hoping for a spot in Super Bowl LVII and they have the roster to reach the big game.
Winning this season’s Super Bowl will erase their heartbreaking Divisional Weekend exit at home against the Rams.
