3 NFL QBs Who Can Follow Tom Brady Into Broadcasting

Tom Brady has made his name as the best quarterback in the NFL over his 23-year career.

However, he now has a shot to become a broadcaster for Fox when he quits.

When news broke of the greatest of all-time going into the broadcast booth, many doubted it would happen soon.

But no matter when it happens for Brady, he already has a spot for himself.

Think of it as him becoming a great in one more area of the NFL.

He proved he’s the greatest quarterback, and soon he will prove he’s the greatest sports announcer.

So with Brady going to the booth, what three NFL quarterbacks could follow in his footsteps one day?

3. Aaron Rodgers

Most Green Bay Packers fans love him while Chicago Bears fans hate him.

However, he already has a knack for being on screen and around a microphone.

During the NFL regular season, people always see him in State Farm commercials.

While his discount double check hasn’t worked out for the Packers salary cap, it could work out with broadcasting.

He even hosted the hit game show Jeopardy! and was rumored he’d possibly be the next full-time host.

One more note on #Packers QB Aaron Rodgers: He really impressed the brass during his stint on Jeopardy. The belief is, when they finish auditions, he’ll be among those with a chance to do the job full-time. If this isn’t sorted out, a job hosting is also a possibility.

With everything under his belt, from commercials to hosting a game show, it’s a no-brainier to have him as a sports broadcaster.

The first of these three quarterbacks to become a broadcast booth announcer is most likely Aaron Rodgers.

2. Patrick Mahomes

Many people see Patrick Mahomes in commercials.

He starred opposite Rodgers in the State Farm commercials and has a knack for humor.

Something he can bring to the broadcast booth is his knowledge of defenses.

He’d be a much more palatable version of Tony Romo when announcing games.

While Romo has an uncanny knack for predicting plays when broadcasting, he does so while sounding dry about it.

Mahomes could bring that with broadcasting, minus the dryness.

His experience with acting already goes beyond what Romo had before becoming an announcer.

While Romo used broadcasting to land himself in commercials, Mahomes can do the opposite.

Chiefs fans should have no problems listening to Mahomes call games for them 20 years from now.

1. Joe Burrow

While a Joe Burrow to booth transition isn’t happening anytime soon, it is something he could do.

His banter with NFL refs when mic’d up has shed light on how comfortable he is when he knows people are listening.

"Y’all ain’t hitting me no more.”

Joe Burrow learned his lesson after that Eagles hit and let the opposition and refs know. 😅

He’s also had some classic interviews during his time at LSU as their championship quarterback.

With the charisma he possesses, he’d make a great addition to the broadcast booth.

While he isn’t a star yet like Rodgers and Mahomes, he’s seen as the next Brady.

With people saying that about him, it isn’t hard to see him follow Brady in his broadcasting footsteps.

However, it will be a long time before Burrow can show off his talent calling games.

The Bengals, and even NFL refs, like to see him have a long playing career in the NFL.
