Although some have been disappointed at the quality of play so far this NFL season, there have been two quarterbacks who have been white-hot.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo Bills signal-caller Josh Allen have been putting up phenomenal numbers, and in fact, they’re on track to finish with seasons to truly remember.
Patrick Mahomes is on pace for 5,243 yards and 49 TD this season.
Josh Allen is on pace for 5,610 yards and 48 TD.

Some say that opposing defenses have figured out Mahomes to some extent, but they haven’t been able to do much to slow him down this season.
Thanks to his exploits, the Chiefs are 5-2 and are second in total yards and first in points scored, passing touchdowns and first downs.
As many expected, they’re Super Bowl contenders even without speedster wide receiver Tyreek Hill, and although their pass defense is struggling, they will always have a chance with Mahomes at the controls.
The one team in the AFC that may be better than the Chiefs are the Bills, who are 5-1 and currently enjoying their bye week.
They’re coming off a thrilling 24-20 win over Kansas City in which they gained a measure of revenge for their heartbreaking loss to it in the Divisional round of last season’s playoffs.
Unlike the Chiefs, Buffalo’s defense has been rock-solid, as its tops in points allowed, total yards allowed and interceptions forced.
It looks like these two teams and their virtuoso quarterbacks are on a collision course to meet at some point in this winter’s postseason again, and such a matchup would be quite a treat for football fans across the land.
