With the new NFL calendar year approaching, fans can start expecting more trade rumors.
In fact, things already got kicked started as Carson Wentz was traded to the Indianapolis Colts.
Also, Matthew Stafford was traded to the Los Angeles Rams in late January.
Two of the many dominos to fall.
Here are three other players that can expect to be involved in a trade for this upcoming season.
1. QB Deshaun Watson
Perhaps, this is the most obvious one.
Over the last couple months, Deshaun Watson has made it obvious that he wants out of Houston.
With much dysfunction in Houston, Watson feels his best chance of winning is elsewhere and quite frankly, he is right.

While the Texans have been adamant about retaining their franchise quarterback, sources around the league believe it is only a matter of time before Watson is traded.
The New York Jets and Miami Dolphins appear to be the frontrunners to land Watson as they have the most draft capital to give up.
With the recent release of J.J. Watt and the eventual trade of Watson, the Texans are clearly in rebuild mode and need to acquire as much draft capital as possible moving forward.
The San Francisco 49ers are also contenders for Watson.
This storyline will continue to play out throughout the next couple of weeks.
But, it is more likely than not, that Watson is playing with a new team in 2021.
2. WR Odell Beckham Jr
This one may come as a surprise too many — but, quite honestly, it shouldn’t.
Last year, the Browns were able to snap a near two decade playoff streak, and they did it without their star WR, Odell Beckham Jr.
In fact, many anticipated the Browns offense to be more efficient after Odell Beckham Jr. suffered a season ending injury.
QB Baker Mayfield would find himself forcing the ball to Odell too often.
In his absence, the Browns established a balanced attack, running the ball well and building off of that with the play action game.
Recently, Odell had one of his venting sessions on Twitter.

Just wait when I touch a field again….. idgaf the 2nd act is tragic… on everything I love

Yeah, but it's weighin' heavy on my conscience
Yeah, and 🤬, you left the boy no options— Odell Beckham Jr (@obj) February 12, 2021
The timing of all of this is not coincidental.
As of late, recent trade rumors have surfaced surrounding the star wideout.
Certain sources believe it is only a matter of time before Odell gets traded.
The four potential teams interested in Odell are the Packers, Ravens, 49ers and Football Team.
3. CB Stephon Gilmore
New England Patriots CB Stephon Gilmore could be on the move this offseason.
Last year — before the trade deadline — New England shopped the cornerback and had no buyers.
Coming off a season ending injury, Gilmore could certainly have an impact on a team.
It was just a short while ago that Gilmore was named 2019 Defensive Player of the Year.

With an expensive contract, Gilmore would have to go to a team who could afford him.
The most ideal situation for the star cornerback would be a contending team.
Teams such as the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants are rumored to be interested in Gilmore, if he becomes available.
Both of those teams could use some help in the backend and certainly have some draft capital that would get the deal done.
