Odell Beckham Jr. has been one of the most discussed free-agent wide receivers during the 2023 NFL offseason.
Beckham hasn’t played in the league since he tore his ACL in the 2021 Super Bowl, but has been itching to come back.
While he has been linked to several teams, there is another surprising option that has emerged.
According to NFL reporter Jeff Darlington, the New York Jets are still a potential destination for Beckham.
.@JeffDarlington says OBJ to the Jets is STILL a possibility:
"We should very much consider Odell Beckham Jr. still on the table as an option for the New York Jets. In fact, we can go even further to say that both sides would still like to see this done." pic.twitter.com/zRo65nLnlr

The Jets have been very aggressive during free agency in their pursuit of adding Aaron Rodgers.
They have added Allen Lazard and Mecole Hardman, both of which are said to contribute in a big way to this roster.
Now, it appears that the Jets are trying to add Beckham, someone that Rodgers is also in support of.
Until a contract is official, both Rodgers and Beckham are not members of the Jets organization.
Between the public declarations from Rodgers and Beckham’s ties to him, it seems like a foregone conclusion that one, or both of these players will end up on the Jets.
One of the biggest concerns with Beckham is a combination of his age, and how he has progressed from this injury.
While he has posted several videos of his workouts, highlighting his progress, he still hasn’t played in a game for more than a year.
At this point, prospective teams will need to trust that he can perform similarly to how he has in the past.
Will the Jets take a swing at Beckham, even though they have already signed two free agents?
