Aaron Rodgers will likely be a New York Jet.
It should not be a matter of if but when.
We’ve already known that for weeks now, yet somehow Rodgers has continued to drag out his formal trade request, and the clock is ticking before the new league year hits.
According to NFL insider Connor Hughes, Rodgers is holding the trade off by not communicating his desire to leave the Green Bay Packers, as both teams have already agreed on terms on a deal and they’ve been in talks about it since the Super Bowl.
All signs are pointing towards the #Jets acquiring Aaron Rodgers. However he has not yet officially told the #Packers to trade him.

The Jets have made Rodgers a priority since the end of the season, and Rodgers has had more than enough time to make up his mind and decide whether he wants to play for them or not.
The Packers need to get Rodgers’ massive salary off their books before the start of the new league year, and the Jets need to know how much money and assets they’ll have to start rounding their roster up before the start of the season.
Notably, Hughes also reports that Rodgers’ careless attitude has already rubbed some Jets players the wrong way, as it has created some unneeded drama and is proof that he’s not fully committed to playing with them.
I’d be concerned with how this wait resonates within #Jets locker room. Players want him, but Rodgers continuing to drag this out?
Gives impression he’s not all-in. Having talked to several, that doesn’t sit well with them.
Either commit or don’t. Drama unneeded.

This is just typical Aaron Rodgers, and Jets fans, players, media members, and even front office guys will need to be mentally prepared to deal with this kind of stuff for as long as he’s in the Big Apple.NEXT: Jets Latest Free Agency Move Has Fans Speculating
