The Indianapolis Colts might have finally solved their head coaching woes.
After firing Frank Reich last season, the Colts weren’t able to find success with Jeff Saturday, their interim coach.
Colts fans across the globe will likely be glad about the fact that Saturday will not be returning to the team, especially with this morning’s breaking news.
Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen is scheduled to fly to Indianapolis this afternoon, when he is expected to finalize his deal to become the Colts’ next head coach, per source.

Less than 24 hours removed from the Philadelphia Eagles losing in the Super Bowl, Shane Steichen will be heading to Indianapolis.
It has been reported that Steichen will likely take over as the Colts newest head coach after his meeting this afternoon.
Steichen was the Eagles’ offensive coordinator for just two seasons but has been highly touted in his time there.
He is another young head coaching candidate who is believed to find success in the league.
Steichen has been widely credited as one of the key contributors to the rise of Jalen Hurts.
He helped lead the Eagles to the Super Bowl, and their offense was top-two in scoring during both the regular season and the playoffs.
If this deal does go through, Steichen will be stepping into a situation with the Colts that is largely unknown, but ready to rebuild under him.
On the offensive side of the ball, he will be able to work with weapons such as Michael Pittman, Parris Campbell, and young phenom Jonathan Taylor.
On defense, he’ll have Shaquille Leonard, Yannick Ngakuoe, and Stephon Gilmore at his disposal.
The Colts could look extremely different in 2023.
Will Steichen be able to bring them back to a winning culture?
