The NFL Draft is a gamble for all 32 teams.
All the research they’ve done before the draft would amount to nothing if the prospect doesn’t pan out.
There are also unknown prospects in the later rounds who became Pro Bowlers, All-Pros, or Hall of Famers.
In contrast, NFL reporter Dov Kleiman also reminded that highly-touted prospects could turn into busts, but not the ones we see in Canton, Ohio.
The 2022 #NFLDraft is 21 days away.

Kleiman reminded us that the NFL Draft is 21 days away, and he included a quote from Josh Rosen saying, “There were nine mistakes made ahead of me. I will make sure over the next decade or so that they will know they made a mistake.”
Unfortunately, it turned out that Rosen was the mistake.
The signs of his imminent failure were evident during his rookie season for the Arizona Cardinals.
Rosen led them to three victories, finishing with 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
Since then, he has suited up for four different teams in as many seasons.
He appeared in four games for the Atlanta Falcons last season but ended up with two interceptions and an 18.2 percent completion percentage.
Meanwhile, most of the players drafted before him thrived in the NFL.
A Fantastic 2018 Draft Class
Denzel Ward, Bradley Chubb, Quenton Nelson, and Josh Allen were all selected in the top ten.
Minkah Fitzpatrick went to the Pittsburgh Steelers one draft pick after Rosen, while Vita Vea went to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Derwin James, Jaire Alexander, Tremaine Edmunds, and former league MVP Lamar Jackson were all selected in round one.
Nick Chubb, Darius Leonard, Courtland Sutton, and Harold Landry heard their names called in the second round.
Looking at those names, Rosen ended up being a draft bust.
Teams hope that they won’t suffer the same fate as the Cardinals did in the first round.
