It isn’t hard to determine why the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will enter the playoffs for a third consecutive season.
Yes, they have a terrific defense, especially on the defensive line and at linebacker.
Likewise, they are loaded on offense from the line to their skill position players.
But they would have a hard time winning without Tom Brady.
His impact on the team is so profound that their players entertained the idea of leaving Tampa Bay after he announced his retirement.
Without him, the Buccaneers might have a double-digit losing season.
Yet with Brady returning after a 40-day retirement, they are contenders again.
Regardless of the outcome of the 2022 season, Brady has nothing left to prove.
But if he ends up winning another Super Bowl, it would further cement his status as the game’s greatest player.
Tom Brady is more likely to take his team to the Championship game (70%) than any QB is to complete a pass.
Also, Brady's career win % in the playoffs: 74.5%

NFL insider Dov Kleiman strengthened the case for Brady being the greatest of all time.
He tweeted, “Tom Brady is more likely to take his team to the Championship game (70%) than any QB is to complete a pass. Also, Brady’s career win % in the playoffs: 74.5% He’s the best QB in NFL history, twice.”
Kleiman also shared a graphic that details Brady’s statistics over two periods of time.
Two Hall Of Fame Busts For Brady?
Based on his career, Brady should have two golden jackets and two bronze busts.
Of course, that won’t happen because one is enough.
Still, it is as if he wrote two Hall of Fame-worthy careers.
From 2001 to 2011, he won 78 percent of his games, including 16 playoff victories.
From 2012 to 2021, Brady’s win rate is still an impressive 75 percent to go with 17 playoff wins.
It would be difficult for any quarterback to match or surpass any of those stats lines, let alone both.
That’s why he is the undisputed NFL G.O.A.T.
