Ever since the Green Bay Packers took Jordan Love in the 2020 NFL Draft, analysts and fans have been counting down the days left for Aaron Rodgers with his team.
Trade rumors and retirement all follow Rodgers like a dark cloud.
However, this dark cloud has a trade rumor sending the four-time MVP quarterback to the New York Jets.
A quarterback trade to the Jets seems logical, as the Packers sent Brett Favre to them back in 2008.
But the price for Rodgers will be high if there is any trade.
NFL insider Dov Kleiman tweeted about a column by Peter King which suggests how willing the Jets are to go after Rodgers.
The #Packers will want at least two 1st round picks in a trade for QB Aaron Rodgers, Peter King shares in his column.
King adds that #Jets owner Woody Johnson would happily pay that price. The question remains if Rodgers even wants to play for NY. pic.twitter.com/BO7UHPpOGM

While fans might see the story as another false rumor, the Jets seem to be serious about a trade.
With the team drafting first-round quarterbacks who turned into busts, they now look for veteran help under center.
However, Rodgers is running on limited time in the NFL.
He’s 39 years old and had plenty of injury concerns during 2022.
With him being a banged-up quarterback, it’s not worth the risk to pursue the four-time MVP.
But the Jets also know they need an answer to fix their quarterback woes.
The team’s offense took a nosedive midway through the regular season.
Most of the problems came from their quarterback, Zach Wilson.
The young BYU star wasn’t playing well in 2022.
His best game was a 154-yard performance where he had one touchdown and zero interceptions.
With that being the best, it’s clear why the Jets want a better quarterback.
It’s also why they might see hope in the aging four-time MVP quarterback in Green Bay.
