The NFL world is waiting for the next move by reigning league MVP Aaron Rodgers.
It’s like watching the Brett Favre retirement drama again, this time with cryptic posts and confusing statements.
Everyone invested in football thought that Rodgers would make an announcement during his recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.
However, he mentioned that his lengthy gratitude post on Instagram is a by-product of a 12-day cleanse he’s been through.
But the timing of it all seems peculiar for those who follow his social media game.
Yet while the Rodgers drama continues to drag on, Pro Football Talk questioned one of the quarterback’s statements.
Two weeks ago today, Aaron Rodgers said he would take a couple weeks to reflect and his decision would then come “pretty quick.” So “pretty quick” should be arriving, pretty quickly.

The tweet reads, “Two weeks ago today, Aaron Rodgers said he would take a couple weeks to reflect and his decision would then come “pretty quick.” So “pretty quick” should be arriving, pretty quickly.”
Sounds like a tongue twister, isn’t it?
After all, Rodgers has his way of shaping the narrative to make people think he means something when it’s about nothing.
The Decision Is Imminent
Rodgers mentioned before that he wouldn’t let his decision drag along to be fair to all parties involved, especially the Green Bay Packers.
He gave an estimate of early March to make an announcement which is at least a week from now.
Everyone is anticipating how he will share his decision.
Will he do it via another social media post?
Or will he have an interview with McAfee again?
Sportsbooks predict that Rodgers will likely return to the Packers and recent developments might be clues already.
He thanked Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst during his NFL Honors acceptance speech and shared that his recent talks with the Packers came out positively.
Still, nothing is certain until he makes it official.
After all, he’s good at dropping hints without everyone knowing.
