The Arizona Cardinals know they’re in a tough spot right now.
The Seattle Seahawks were much better than expected and look far ahead of schedule in their rebuild; the Los Angeles Rams will go back to their winning ways once they are healthy, and the San Francisco 49ers are fresh off a trip to the NFC Championship Game.
So, they desperately need to find the right job for their Head Coaching position after years of underachieving with Kliff Kingsbury calling the shots.
With that in mind, NFL insider Mike Garafolo revealed the candidates that’ll go through the second interview process with the organization, citing New York Giants’ OC Mike Kafka, Cincinnati Bengals’ DC Lou Anarumo, and Pittsburgh Steelers’ LBs coach Brian Flores.

There are plenty of rumors regarding the Cardinals right now, with Kyler Murray’s alleged feud with the organization and some of his teammates, and DeAndre Hopkins potentially forcing his way out of the team.
That’s why this hire could be crucial to determine the fate of an organization that’s fresh off committing generational money to their young quarterback.
Of the aforementioned finalists, Brian Flores is the only one with experience as a Head Coach, going 24-25 in three years with the Miami Dolphins and winning four Super Bowls as an assistant with the New England Patriots.
The Cardinals need to get back on track and have a little-to-none margin for error in arguably the NFC’s toughest division, so they most definitely need to get it right this time around.
