Recently, Aaron Rodgers was permitted by the Green Bay Packers to speak with the New York Jets.
Members of the Jets organization made the big move to fly to California to meet with Rodgers and discuss his future.
While details of this meeting haven’t been revealed at this time, one Packers insider commented on the information that was known.
According to Rob Demovsky, the Jets’ plane, after being in California nearly all day, left at nearly midnight, arriving back in New York in the wee hours of the next morning.
The Jets’ plane left Los Angeles last night at 11:26 pm PT and landed back in New York at 6:40 a.m. ET. Now we wait for the decision. https://t.co/3jugoJB2Xs

Now, many Packers and Jets fans alike are left to wait.
Rodgers is still a member of the Packers and is yet to be released or traded.
The Jets’ pursuit of Rodgers has demonstrated that they are incredibly interested in him, staying up late in their meetings.
Rodgers has been with the Packers for his entire career.
While the jury is still out on whether the team is open to trading him, the fact that they allowed the two parties to converse shows that they are at least open to the possibility.
Are the Jets the destination that makes the most sense for Rodgers at this time?
Their defense is one of the league’s best, and they have continued to invest in young offensive talent.
The Jets roster is in a much better place from when Brett Favre transitioned there from Green Bay.
