The Los Angeles Rams head into their Week 9 game with a 3-4 record.
With them being in third place after another loss to the San Francisco 49ers, they need all their weapons ready for Sunday.
However, star receiver Cooper Kupp is a player who got hurt during the Rams’ loss last Sunday.
Without him, the passing game will miss a key component they desperately need.
But for the Rams, an NFL insider is giving encouraging news over the injury Kupp is currently fighting with.
So what does this NFL insider have to say about Kupp and his injury?
Ian Rapoport Gives Info On Kupp’s Injury
While Kupp hurt his ankle in the team’s loss to the 49ers, Ian Rapoport reports how the injury wasn’t a big deal.

He also notes how Kupp returning to practice on Thursday was also an encouraging sign that his injury was minor.
With the Rams facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, they need Kupp more than ever.
While the Bucs are on a losing streak, Tom Brady is looking to break the streak.
Kupp is the Rams’ leading receiver, with 686 yards and five touchdowns.
Compare that to the Rams’ four other wide receivers and you see how Kupp beats them all.
The four Rams WRs with a catch this season only have a combined total of 579 yards and two touchdowns.
With those numbers, it’s clear how important he is to that receiving corps.
If the Rams want to make a playoff push, they need Kupp in the lineup.
