For the better part of his career, Tom Brady owned the New York Jets.
That’s why it would be so ironic to see him taking the field for them now, as some expect.
As soon as Aaron Rodgers fell with that season-ending injury, fans and even some members of the media started speculating about Brady’s potential comeback, stating that the Jets should throw a bunch of money at him to try and get him to suit up again.
Nonetheless, Dianna Russini reveals that the team has no intention whatsoever to pursue their nemesis at this moment, mostly because Brady has made it loud and clear that he has no plans of making another comeback right now — if ever (via Dov Kleiman).

Brady recently stated that he’s not looking forward to putting the helmet on again, and he’s completely focused on his new endeavor as an analyst for FOX Sports.
Also, Brady agreed to buy a stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, so having him play for any other team could be a conflict of interest.
Brady had a 31-8 record in the regular season and playoffs vs. the Jets in his career, and he’s not going to give them a helping hand when they need him the most.
For now, it’s Zach Wilson’s job to lose, and that might not change for the remainder of the season.
