The beginning stages of the 2023 NFL offseason have provided lots of drama, with significant roster shifts across the league.
While many elite players have been signed up to this point, there are still several available free agents that are on the market.
One of those available options is Yannick Ngakoue.
According to Jordan Schultz, an NFL insider, Ngakoue is still one of the league’s best pass rushers.
Yannick Ngakoue’s an elite pass rusher still on the market. Since entering the league in 2016, he has the 5th most FFs and ranks 6th in sacks. He’s also the 5th player EVER to record 8+ in seven of his first nine seasons. Only 27 years old as well.

Since 2016, Ngakoue has been consistently graded high among PFF’s rankings, compiling the fifth-most forced fumbles and sixth-most sacks during that time.
Last season, Ngakoue had 29 total tackles, 9.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.
At just 27 years old, Ngakoue could provide several more years of elite production, should a team take a chance on him moving forward.
He was a valuable contributor to the Indianapolis Colts but has bounced around the league over the last three seasons.
Ultimately, Ngakoue will likely get signed to a new team during the offseason, his fourth new team in so many years.
Where will Ngakoue end up in 2023?
His last contract was for two years, with $26 million guaranteed.
Whether he will get that much still remains to be seen.
To Schultz, Ngakoue’s prior seasons precede him.
The NFL offseason has been filled with many unexpected twists and turns, and Ngakoue’s destination hasn’t been laid out yet.
With any luck, he will be able to find a team that is interested in him, and they will be able to come to an equitable contract solution.
What’s next for Ngakoue’s career?
