The latest reports state that the Green Bay Packers don’t want Aaron Rodgers to come back.
Rodgers has reportedly worn them out with his constant threats and demands, and they think Jordan Love is finally ready to take the reins of the offense.
But as much as they’d love him to leave, that doesn’t mean they’re just going to give him away.
They know the New York Jets are desperate to acquire Rodgers, and they have plenty of valuable assets to give up in return.
With that in mind, NFL insider Adam Schefter revealed that the Packers are expected to demand at least a couple of first-round picks, stating that they’re looking to land a deal similar to what the Detroit Lions got for Matthew Stafford two offseasons ago.

The Jets have more than what the Packers would ask for the multi-time MVP’s services, and they would sure hope it leads to the same success the Los Angeles Rams found when they landed Stafford.
Rodgers is one of the greatest quarterbacks in football history.
The Jets have a plethora of young playmakers on both ends of the field, and adding a player of his caliber would officially open their Super Bowl window right away.
So, now that Rodgers and the Packers have all the leverage in these trade talks, it’ll be interesting to know how much the Jets are willing to give up to land the future Hall of Famer and put an end to all this drama once and for all.
