The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have recently signed Baker Mayfield to a one-year contract.
Mayfield came to the Buccaneers from the Los Angeles Rams, where he spent the back half of the 2022 season.
After being taken first overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, Mayfield has been on two different teams that didn’t draft him.

He will have some of the best receiving talents of his entire career with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, as both are top-15 wide receivers across the league.

While there is no true replacement for Tom Brady, many believe that Mayfield is a step in the right direction.
Mayfield played for the Carolina Panthers for the first part of the 2022 season, which was also met with mixed responses.
