We seem to finally have a decision from future Hall of Fame quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.
He went on to the Pat McAfee Show to talk about his future.
Among many different topics that were discussed, Rodgers announced his intentions to play for the New York Jets.
Aaron Rodgers told @PatMcAfeeShow that he intends to play for the Jets and the teams need to work out compensation.

This was the news that many fans expected, as the Packers and Jets have been talking for days.
But, it appears that all the teams need to do now is come up with the compensation for Rodgers.
Rodgers even mentioned that he was 90/10 to retire before heading into his darkness retreat.
And he was initially 90/10 retiring vs not retiring before hearing they may shop him. Amazing turn of events.

Rodgers did not say how many more years he intends to play, but he will seemingly take it one year at a time.
One team that will not miss having to play Rodgers is the Chicago Bears.
Rodgers has dominated them for years, and as the Bears start getting better, the Packers will seemingly get worse.
Goodbye Aaron, you will NOT be missed.

The NFL will miss not having Rodgers face the Bears two times a season.
But, the rivalry will have to move on with Jordan Love and Justin Fields.
Now as Rodgers expects to join the Jets, the AFC East just got much more competitive.

Rodgers now makes the Jets a contender in the AFC.
They already have a great defense in place, but the quarterback position has held them back for years.
Some people have very high expectations for Rodgers in New York.

While the Jets will probably not be the favorite in the division, they should be a playoff team.
Rodgers will have plenty of pressure on him to get the Jets back to the postseason.
