The Houston Texans are back in the news with their star receiver Brandin Cooks.
After giving their star receiver a two-year extension back in May, it seems like Cooks is on the trading block.
With the Texans at 1-4-1, they are clear sellers before the NFL trade deadline.
So how are NFL fans reacting to the news about a potential trade of Cooks?

However, some fans aren’t buying into the trade rumors with Cooks.
Do you actually have any accurate basis for this or are you just throwing stuff out so that you keep viewers and make it seem like you have every GM on speed dial?

One fan points out how Cooks is a receiver who’s been on a lot of different teams via trades.
Cooks has been traded quite a bit. I guess it's a good thing teams still want him, but he has never found a home it seems.

With the Chiefs already trading for the Giants’ wide receiver earlier, a fan thinks they need one more.

But with Lamar Jackson having no stand out wide receiver, Ravens fans want them to get Cooks.

However, with fans wanting their team to get this receiver, will it happen before the trade deadline?
One side thinks it won’t happen, as the Texans gave their star receiver that two-year extension.
But with the season pretty much over for them, they might want to rebuild with younger players.
While Cooks is only 29-years-old, it’s around the time a receiver falls off with their numbers.
If the Texans are feeling this will happen, a trade is likely before the deadline.
