The Philadelphia Eagles, the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL this season, have gotten even better.
On Wednesday, they traded for Robert Quinn, a talented pass rusher, making an already strong defense that much scarier.

A Blockbuster Move
Fans have some pretty strong feelings about the move, as it is the latest in a series of moves by some high-profile teams, including the San Francisco 49ers, who traded for running back Christian McCaffrey last week, and the New York Jets, who added running back James Robinson.
This man sees Quinn making his teammates even more effective by freeing them up.
Robert Quinn has faced 58 double-teams this season. Nick Bosa and Micah Parsons are each in the 40s.
Imagine what that does for everybody else on the Eagles' front.

Yes, Philly will now have a pretty fearsome front seven.
Just imagine this 5 man sub package…

DT: Brandon Graham
NT: Jordan Davis
DT: Josh Sweat

Quinn, who had been with the Chicago Bears since the 2020 season, had arguably his best year in 2021 by posting 18.5 sacks, 17 tackles for loss, and 22 quarterback hits, which earned him Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors.

This move is almost reminiscent of what the Los Angeles Rams did last season when they fortified an already strong roster with the addition of linebacker Von Miller and went all-in on winning the Super Bowl.
THE RICH GET RICHER.
Robert Quinn totaled 18.5 sacks last season with the Bears. A huge addition for an already stacked defensive front.

Meanwhile, on the other side, this Bears fan bid Quinn a very classy and grateful goodbye.
Thank You Robert Quinn! Ball out in Philly! Go get your ring.
You always played the game with 100% effort and the Chicago bears way.
I’ll be cheering rooting for you in the playoffs.

Chicago is 3-4 on the season, and while it is tied with the rival Green Bay Packers for second place in the NFC North, it seems to be stuck in a perpetual rebuilding process.
Meanwhile, the Eagles are aiming for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
It must be an exciting time to be a sports fan in the Delaware Valley, as the Philadelphia Phillies are in the World Series and the Philadelphia 76ers seem to be in the mix for the NBA championship.
