The first major domino in the NFL offseason has officially fallen.
Derek Carr has been signed to a four-year contract with the New Orleans Saints.
Although Carr has yet to play a snap with the Saints, there is already artwork of him in a Saints uniform, which was recently shared by Ian Rapoport.
This will look pretty good

Carr had spent the first nine years of his NFL career as a member of the Las Vegas Raiders.
He’ll now get a new start on the Saints, who finished the 2022 season with a 7-10 record.
Many Saints fans have been calling for a new franchise quarterback, a position that the team has struggled with since Drew Brees’ departure.
This is great news for members of the Saints’ offense, including Chris Olave, who gets a boost at quarterback.
Olave was one of the top rookie wide receivers in 2022, despite instability at the quarterback position.
Carr’s veteran leadership and experience should prove to be valuable for Olave, as the two will hope to grow together over the next several years.
Now that Carr has joined the team, the Saints will likely look to draft another young wide receiver to complement Olave.
The Saints currently hold the 29th and 40th overall picks in April’s draft.
If they choose to select a receiver in this draft, they should find themselves in a great position to do so.
With Carr at the helm, the Saints should be poised to make a run at the playoffs, especially when considering the other quarterbacks in their division.
