The Buffalo Bills have come under fire since their home loss against the Cincinnati Bengals.
This season was a heartbreaker for the Bills, as they came into 2022 as the favorites to reach Super Bowl 57.
However, with the snow in Buffalo and the home crowd behind them, the team couldn’t execute and win their playoff game.
While the loss ends their Super Bowl hopes this season, comments by Bills GM Brandon Beane have caught the attention of one NFL analyst.
When Russell Brown heard what Beane said about Ja’Marr Chase, the Bengals top receiver, he let the world know how he feels about the Bills GM.
He went to Twitter to drop the names of three receivers Beane overlooked in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Not trying to be that guy but you passed on DK Metcalf, AJ Brown and Terry McLaurin multiple times in 2019. https://t.co/iyB2cgEvZt

With Beane inferring how teams need a terrible season to draft an elite receiver, it became too much for Brown.
He points out how teams can find elite receivers outside the top-five draft picks.
All three receivers which he names had over 1,000 receiving yards this season.
In fact, since coming into the NFL, those three receivers have eight 1,000+ yard seasons among them.
The Bills had chances to get these star receivers during the 2019 NFL Draft, but didn’t.
This leads to Brown fairly criticizing Beane for his statement.
Teams don’t need “lean years” to find elite receivers.
The Green Bay Packers found their elite receiver, Davante Adams, in the second round.
Even Stefon Diggs, who Beane mentions in his statement, was a fifth-round pick.
While the Bills general manager is making excuses for the team’s loss, his excuses aren’t working with everyone.
