This morning, the Associated Press announced the five MVP finalists.
These finalists are Joe Burrow, Justin Jefferson, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, and Patrick Mahomes.
Whenever a list like this comes out, sports commentators and talk shows frequently make this a topic of conversation, as was the case on “Get Up” this morning.
While on the show this morning, Dominique Foxworth picked his clear winner for NFL MVP.

Mahomes has been a common pick for this year’s MVP, even before he was announced as a finalist for the award.
Even though it might be a commonly-held take that Mahomes will be the 2022 NFL MVP, Foxworth stuck with the trends.
This season, Mahomes led the league in passing yards, passing touchdowns, and quarterback rating.
His worst stat was in interceptions, throwing 12.
Despite being one of the league leaders in interceptions, Mahomes’ gun-slinging abilities continue to put the league on notice.
His stats continue to dazzle and impress, and he is often dubbed “Magic Mahomes.”
Whenever Mahomes is on the field, he gives the Kansas Chiefs their best possibility to succeed.
At the moment, Mahomes is suffering from a high ankle sprain.
Although he contends that he will be able to perform in the AFC Championship, this will be a growing situation to monitor.
Thankfully for Mahomes, the MVP award only takes regular-season performances into account.
Even if he is unable to go this weekend, Mahomes is still the most likely to win league MVP this season.
Will he tack on Super Bowl MVP as well?
