In a matter of two weeks, the Miami Dolphins became a team that most football fans have largely counted out to being the talk of the town.
After being the center of attention due to former head coach Brian Flores’ lawsuit, they are once again dominating the headlines thanks to their free agency haul.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will now have targets on offense like Raheem Mostert, Chase Edmonds, Cedrick Wilson, and Tyreek Hill.
Add them to Mike Gesicki and Jaylen Waddle and the Dolphins should make a playoff push in 2022.
But after the huge trade for the All-Pro wide receiver with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Dolphins are still in the limelight because of the rumored trade from Tom Brady.
Typically, trade rumors have credible sources behind them like team officials or NFL insiders.
However, it’s hard to pinpoint the root of the Brady to Miami conversations.
That said, Good Morning Football host Peter Schrager had a perfect reaction to the bizarre scenario.

Leveraging Will Smith‘s slap on Chris Rock during the 94th Academy Awards, Schrager is shutting down the talks revolving around Brady’s move to South Beach.
If a person like him who has NFL connections is already denying the proposed trade, then there’s no truth to it.
Tagovailoa Has No Excuse
Now that the Dolphins are loaded with players who can make a difference, there’s no excuse for Tagovailoa to not perform well.
Aside from having more targets, the team also signed Connor Williams and Terron Armstead to improve the protection around him.
Miami’s chances to succeed will improve if he can constantly find Waddle or Hill downfield.
If that doesn’t work, he can also let Edmonds and Mostert go to work under head coach Mike McDaniel’s run-option system.
