The Philadelphia Eagles have to be happy with the way quarterback Jalen Hurts has played this season.
He has led the team to the Super Bowl, and he is one of the finalists for NFL MVP.
Hurts is at his best when he can run the ball.
This season he rushed for 760 yards and 13 rushing touchdowns.
But, there are still questions about Hurts as a passer.
Chris Simms even believes that Hurts has one of the easier jobs in the NFL.
“Playing QB for the Eagles right now is set up to be one of the easier QB jobs in the sport”
-Chris Simms admits he was wrong about Jalen Hurts but says Jalen is not top 10 passer in NFL 👀

To peel back the layers of what Simms is saying, you have to look at the supporting case in Philadelphia.
Hurts has the luxury of playing with the best offensive line in the NFL, and two WR1-caliber players in A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith.
Also, the offense is run by two smart coaches, Nick Sirianni and Shane Steichen.
There is no question the Eagles are a run-first team, and their leading the league in rushing touchdowns emphasizes that.
Looking at the two playoff games he played, Hurts threw for a total of 275 yards and two touchdowns.
Despite that, the Eagles won both games by three scores.
So while Hurts has played well this season, there is no question that he has the best supporting cast in the league around him.
This Super Bowl will tell us a lot about the Eagles quarterback, especially if he is forced to throw.
Kansas City should be fully focused on slowing down the run, and forcing Hurts to beat them with his arm.
If he can do that, he might just silence the critics once and for all.
