The Philadelphia Eagles are one win away from capping off their nearly-perfect season.
They still have a tough challenge ahead of them, as they’ll face Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs.
But more than that, they’ll have to go against Andy Reid, the very same guy they fired ten years ago, and that has definitely kept his receipts ahead of this matchup.
The Eagles dominated from start to finish over the San Francisco 49ers and their stacked team, so they might be feeling great against themselves, regardless of which quarterback they were facing.
And that ability to adapt and be at their best against every single rival is why NFL analyst Jamie Erdahl believes the Eagles have been so special this season:
“What I’ve loved and appreciated most about this Eagles team is that every game feels different,” Erdahl said. “The identity of the team looks different every day, and I think Jalen Hurts feels it; he has an incredible feel and touch for the game.”

The Eagles have played like a unit in every aspect of the game throughout the whole season.
Nick Sirianni hasn’t needed to do a lot of in-game adjusting, as his team has pretty much overmatched almost every single rival they’ve faced thus far.
Their defense has been a wrecking ball on the ground and quite disciplined on the air.
Jalen Hurts has finally taken that leap forward and has proved that he could be that franchise quarterback so many people doubted he would ever be.
But then again, it won’t mean a thing without a ring, so the Eagles still need to prove that this year’s success wasn’t a fluke, capping the year off with their second Super Bowl win in the past five seasons.
