Patrick Beverley has been with the Chicago Bulls for a very short amount of time.
When the controversial star signed with this hometown team, many weren’t sure just how well he would do.
So far, he has scored 8 points in his first game with the Bulls and 0 in his second.
That makes it seem like he isn’t a huge force to be reckoned with.
The Bulls have held their opponents to under 90 points in both games with Pat Bev.

However, during those two games, the Bulls have kept their opponents to under 90 points.
Before Beverley’s arrival in Chicago, they had only done that once before.
That is an impressive feat that shows the Bulls might be headed in the right direction.
Most important is the fact that Chicago beat both of the teams they held under 90: the Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards.
The Bulls are the 11th team in the East and need all of the help they can get.
They will have to fight hard to even make the play-in games this year so if Beverley is able to assist them in doing that, the team will welcome it.
He isn’t always known as the best shooter on the floor and is currently averaging just 6.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists a game.
But Beverley has long been known as a fearsome defender, someone who isn’t afraid of any challenge and will go toe-to-toe against just about anyone.
Perhaps that is really paying off in Chicago.
If the Bulls hope to reach the playoffs, they will need many more defensively strong games like the last two they have had.
The competition will only get tougher in the weeks ahead.
