The Dallas Mavericks are ready for the 2023-24 NBA season after making a few changes to their roster in hopes of avoiding back-to-back postseason misses.
Speaking of which, the Mavericks signed Seth Curry to further bolster the shooting department of the team.
It’s the third time that Curry will wear the Mavericks jersey in his nine-year-long NBA career.
Curry is seemingly all set to be a crucial player for the Mavs as he joked about his strategy to play with Luka Doncic for the 2023-24 season.
“I can make shots, and Luka can still pass,” Curry said, via the NBA on Twitter.

Curry previously shared the court with Doncic in the 2019-20 NBA season.
Seth developed great chemistry with the then-sophomore Doncic throughout the season.
Now, the two players are reunited after three seasons, so the media obviously wondered if they still share the same level of chemistry.
Curry hilariously responded that he could still make shots and Doncic could pass the ball to him.
During his last stint with the Mavs, Curry averaged 12.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.
Over the last few seasons, Curry has remained an elite shooter in the NBA.
On the other hand, Doncic has become one of the best players in the league.
It will be exciting to see the duo reunited, but can they help the Mavericks reach the playoffs?
Of course, Curry will only play a supporting role to the dynamic duo of Doncic and Kyrie Irving.
But at times, a good role player can be the deciding factor for a team winning the prestigious Larry O’Brien trophy.
