Lately, being the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers is no easy job and it definitely causes more stress than joy.
This was especially true last season when the team suffered mightily and wasn’t able to even make the playoffs.
Obviously, that isn’t the plan this year and the team’s front office has made some alterations to ensure that won’t happen.
One of those changes was bringing in a new coach, Darvin Ham.
Ham has a huge task set out for himself and his squad and he is well aware of the challenges ahead.

However, when he threw out the first pitch for the Los Angeles Dodgers the other night, he seemed unquestionably relaxed and happy.
This was a man who looked like he didn’t have a care in the world.
Maybe he’s just really good at hiding his true feelings.
Hard Work For Ham
Ham has done some terrific work in the NBA, notably as an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks where he helped oversee the rise of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Fans of the Lakers are hoping that Ham will bring that sort of skill to LA, especially with another All-Star big man: Anthony Davis.
Ham will have to do more than just figure out Davis, he will also have to guide an aging LeBron James, a squad of younger players, and, as of now, Russell Westbrook.
Again and again, he has said that he has a plan in mind that will work and get the team back on track.
Honestly, most Lakers fans have been very supportive of Ham’s hiring.
But they will quickly change their tune in a few weeks if the Lakers start to have another season like the last one.
