No one should ever count out Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets.
Yes, his team started off the season in a very bad fashion and they were losing games left and right for a while.
But they have seemingly turned things around, having won four in a row and sitting as the fourth seed in the East currently.
As for Durant, he has been impressive all season long, which isn’t really surprising at all.
In NBA history, only 3 players have averaged 30+ PPG on 65% true shooting:
– Steph Curry
– Adrian Dantley
– Kevin Durant (so far this season)Its wild that KD is putting up historically efficient numbers in his age 34 season and it just seems so normal. pic.twitter.com/iZULRMjjVZ

Durant has been so good, in fact, that he now stands among some of the greats in the league.
Only three players have averaged 30+ points per game on 65% true shooting.
Those players are Stephen Curry, Adrian Dantley, and now KD.
Durant is 34 years old and yet he is still achieving things that guys much younger than him cannot.
Durant Doing It Again
The MVP race is so crowded this year that some people forget how well Durant is playing.
He is averaging 30 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.5 assists a game on a powerful 55.9% field goal percentage.
Again, the man is 34 years old.
It is good to see the Nets finally getting it together under new head coach Jacque Vaughn but Durant has been doing great work all season long.
Now the question is if he can keep it up.
Will he still be shooting at 65% when the playoffs approach?
If so, his team might actually have a chance of making it far in the postseason.
That certainly wasn’t the case last season, as they were the only team swept in the playoffs.
Durant’s recent achievements have reminded people that he’s one of the best guys in the league and has been for some time.
